It seems like every season I have one or two looks that I can always depend upon and throw on in a hurry -so becoming my “uniform” of that season. I’m naturally a spontaneous, disorganized person so having an outfit to fall back on at all times is completely necessary. This winter I recycled a few black trousers, black tops, black jackets, black shoes, black hats -obviously black was my go-to.
This spring I predict myself heavily relying on rolled up boyfriend jeans and an awesome pump or strappy sandal with tops and jackets to mix & match.
I really like the look of the lighter, distressed denim -One Teaspoon Super Baggies are my current favorite.
& the dream shoe…
hey, A GIRL CAN WISH

While everyone was looking mighty fine at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards last evening, I have to say with 100% certainty that Rihanna was the best dressed. It was very nice to see RiRi rocking a softer more classy look proving the bad gurl really is a fashion goddess.
Rihanna wore subtle eye makeup accented with dramatic red lips & nails. I loved her new soft, flowing locks -a definite step in the classier direction from last year’s look.
RiRi walked the red carpet in this gorgeous red chiffon Alaia gown.
The total babe then slipped into this black Alaia gown and Neil Lane necklace for her performance of “Stay”.
For her Bob Marley tribute performance and final look of the night Rihanna changed into this two piece vintage Luciano Soprani dress. Despite the controversy this look has caused because of it not meeting the new CBS dress code, it is definitely my favorite. The dress is completely on point with the 90s inspired looks Rihanna has been wearing as of late & HER BOD HAS NEVER LOOKED BETTER!
Major kudos to Rihanna’s stylist & personal designer, Mel Ottenberg & Adam Selman, for their work here.

With New York Fashion Week in full swing, I feel like I spend every spare moment on the internet stalking the shows and what all of the guests are wearing. Here are some of my favorite looks from the runway thus far.

Last night I had the pleasure of attending the closing of Cari Lee’s latest exhibition at Project Gallery in Hollywood. The exhibition featured gorgeous black & white paintings, mostly acrylic on canvas, full of sexiness & soul.
I completely fell in love with this painting titled “Sea of Emotions”. When speaking to Cari about it, she revealed that this painting is actually a replica of one she had done previously. Five days before the exhibit was set to open the original was stolen & destroyed during a breakup. Obviously this one is better -& obviously the boyfriend is gone.
